Hello, Marlin Families-

We had a wonderful first week of practices across all age groups, and it was so exciting to see the energy, effort, and teamwork from everyone involved. It’s already clear that this is going to be a fantastic season, and we’re so proud of the commitment and enthusiasm our participants are showing.

We have a busy and exciting week ahead as we move into week two. Please take a few minutes to read and review the dates and information carefully so you don’t miss any important updates. We appreciate your support in helping everything run smoothly!

Week at a Glance:

Monday, May 25th - No Practices - Happy Memorial Day!

Tuesday, May 26th- Declarations are DUE by 5:00 PM for Friday’s regulation meet at Northstone (hard deadline)

Tuesday 5/26 -Thursday 5/28: Regular practice schedule

Friday, May 29th- Our first regulation meet at Northstone! Be on the lookout for specific details later this week.

Declaring your swimmer(s):As many of you know, parents need to declare their swimmer(s) attendance for their corresponding age group meets:

8&U - speedy meets ONLY - unless otherwise assigned by Coach Allie
9&older - regulation meets ONLY

If you are unfamiliar with this process, please see the instructions outlined at the bottom of this email or visit our FAQ's page. Declaring your swimmer for each meet they will be attending is vital for our coaching staff to plan and assign swimmers to the correct races and relays for each meet. Please be sure your swimmers are declared PRIOR to each meet's declaration deadline.

You can declare for ALL meets on our team website or on the SwimTopia app now (if you already know your swimmer's availability for their assigned meets this season) OR you can declare your swimmer(s) for their assigned meets as the season progresses. Please pay close attention to the weekly declaration deadlines communicated by email.

Our first REGULATION meet is Friday, 5/29; declarations are due by Tuesday, 5/26 5PM, followed by a meet Friday 6/5, declarations due by 6/2 5PM.

Our first SPEEDY meet is Saturday, 6/6; declarations are due by Wednesday, 6/3 5PM.

Declaration Directions:

From Computer Browser

1. Click Schedule
2. Find Meet and Click Green Meet Entry Box
3. Under your swimmers name, you will see ? Not yet signed-up for this meet, click Edit4. Select "Not Attending This Meet" or "Attending This Meet", click Save
5. Repeat for each swim meet

From SwimTopia App

1. Open the App
2. Scroll down to Upcoming and see calendar events
3. Find and click meet
4. Under swimmer(s) names, click Meet Signup
5. Under your swimmers name, you will see ? Not yet signed-up for this meet, click Edit
6. Select "Not Attending This Meet" or "Attending This Meet", click Save
7. Repeat for each swim meet
