    5/29 Away Meet at NorthStone

    Marlin Families,

    Tomorrow is our first regulation meet at NorthStone! We can't wait to cheer on our Marlins!

    NorthStone Swim Club- 15801 NorthStone Drive, Huntersville
    Upon arrival, volunteers will direct you to the MacAulay team area as you arrive. MacAulay families are welcome to sit on deck, but bring foldable chairs to sit in. Be sure to have your Marlins shirts and swag ready to wear!

    Arrival: 5:00-5:15 PM *Please do not arrive before 5:00 PM
    Marlins Warm Up: 5:30-5:50 PM
    Timer Meeting: 5:40 PM near the starter table
    Volunteer Stroke and Turn Judge Meeting: 5:40 PM near the picnic tables, by the pool entrance
    Meet Start Time: 6:00 PM

    HOST TEAM DETAILS & CONCESSIONS: No outside food or coolers are permitted within the pool area. There is a concession stand that sells various snack foods and ice cream. In addition, the tiki bar sells drinks and to-go food from the clubhouse (see the menu attached). Cash is NOT accepted – credit card for visitors only.

    For the Swimmers:
    • Swimmer Events Assignments: Log into SwimTopia --> Click Schedule --> Click 5/29 MacAulay at Northstone - meet entry closed button - review swimmer assignments OR refer to Athlete Report - posted here *tomorrow; Relays will be posted on the Athlete Report/Heat Sheets.
    • Swimmer Arm Markings - Please have your swimmer's arms marked with their events prior to arrival - instructions
    • Swimmer's Uniform - Please ensure all swimmers have their blue Marlins swim cap as it is part of the mandatory meet uniform. Swimmers should be in their Marlins swimsuit, a previous Marlins swimsuit or a black swimsuit. Tie backs and tech suits are not allowed.
    • Please be sure to label your swimmer's belongings and team shirts to ensure they are able to gather their correct belongings at the end of the night. 
    • We want your swimmers to have fun, but please remind your swimmers to be respectful of the adult volunteers, of their fellow swimmers, of everyone's belongings on the pool deck.
    • Clean-Up: When the meet concludes, please be sure that your swimmer has removed all of their trash and belongings.

    For the Parents/Spectators:

    Spectator Viewing: The visiting team may sit on the right side of the race pool and under the cabanas along that side (the same side as the starter table).

    Volunteers
    - All 1st and 2nd half volunteers should check in at 5:25 PM at the Marlins blue tablecloth. Volunteer check-in will be set up under the first cabana on the right side of the race pool. Please be sure to give yourself ample time for parking so that you can get checked in and join the pre-meet meetings that start at 5:40 PM.

    *Please review your SwimTopia account to review your volunteer slots. If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer requirement, please remember it is your responsibility to get it covered. Please email macaulaymarlinsvolunteer@gmail.com with any volunteer changes or questions. Any specific volunteer duties will be communicated to you at check-in or by email if necessary.

    Additional Meet Information

    Meet Availability Changes: If your swimmer is unable to attend the meet, please email macaulaymarlinsswim@gmail.com as soon as possible. Please be aware that relays can change up until meet time if there are late changes. Coach Allie will communicate any last minute changes.

    SwimTopia App - We strongly encourage you to download and login to the app. If you pay for the upgraded membership, you will be notified as soon as the Heat Sheet is available and can view the Heat Sheet on your phone. You will also be able to see live results as they are available.

    Athlete Report/Heat Sheets *Not yet officially posted

    You can use the Athlete Report to find all of the events your swimmer is entered in.

    Heat Sheets can change up until the meet due to last minute changes. Coach Allie or the Junior Coaches will communicate any last minute changes.
